Jr. QC Engineer

Job Title: Junior Quality Control (QC) Engineer – Fresher Department: Quality Control Location: Vadodara Reports To: QC Manager Experience: 0–1 Year (Fresher) Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Quality Control Engineer (Fresher) to support our quality assurance operations . This is an entry-level role suitable for candidates with a strong academic background and interest in manufacturing quality, inspection, and documentation processes. Key Responsibilities: 1. Quality Inspection: Assist in performing incoming , in-process , and final inspection of materials and components. Help monitor product quality during the production process using basic tools and checklists. Learn to use measurement instruments like Vernier calipers , micrometers , height gauges , etc. 2. Documentation & Reporting: Support preparation of inspection reports , checklists , and non-conformance records . Help maintain logs and quality documentation as per ISO/QMS guidelines. Organize and file Material Test Certificates (MTCs) and other quality records. 3. Learning & Development: Undergo training on quality standards , inspection techniques, and documentation systems. Work closely with senior QC engineers to learn root cause analysis and corrective actions . Develop an understanding of company standards , SOPs , and industry norms (e.g., ISO 9001). 4. Coordination & Communication: Coordinate with production and stores departments for inspection-related activities. Report any non-conformities or deviations to the quality supervisor. Assist in resolving basic quality issues under supervision. Qualifications: Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. Freshers are welcome ; prior internship or project work in a QC or production environment is a plus. Skills Required: Basic understanding of quality principles and measurement techniques. Familiarity with MS Excel, Word, and report preparation. Good written and verbal communication skills. Eagerness to learn and grow in a manufacturing environment. Attention to detail and basic problem-solving ability. Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Work Location: In person
