Job Summary:

The Junior QC Engineer will be responsible for assisting in the inspection and quality control of interior design projects, furniture, fixtures, and fit-outs. The role ensures that all work meets company quality standards, project specifications, and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in quality inspection of raw materials, in-process work, and finished products related to interior design and fit-outs.
• Conduct routine checks to ensure compliance with project drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Support senior QC engineers in developing and implementing quality assurance procedures.
• Document inspection results and prepare quality reports.
• Report non-conformities and coordinate with production, design, and site teams for corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies during inspections.
• Assist in maintaining quality records, checklists, and audit reports.
• Work closely with vendors and contractors to ensure quality compliance of outsourced work.
• Participate in final inspection and handover of completed interior projects.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Interior Design Engineering or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in quality control (freshers with strong knowledge may be considered).
• Knowledge of interior fit-out materials, furniture, carpentry, modular works, and finishes.
• Basic understanding of quality control processes and inspection methods.
• Strong attention to detail with good problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and documentation/reporting skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with design, production, and project teams.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
