Jr. Executive / Executive - IT (Hardware Engineer)

Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and management of hardware components within the hospital's IT environment, ensuring that they are operational and secure.

2.

Maintain accurate records of all hardware assets, including tracking utilization and planning for hardware refresh cycles and upgrades.

3.

Assist in the evaluation and selection of hardware components for purchase, ensuring they align with the hospital's technology strategy and budget.

4.

Implement security measures for hardware components, including access controls, security patches and updates to protect against cyber security threats.

5.

Work with hardware vendors, service providers and maintenance teams to facilitate hardware repairs, service contracts and equipment replacements.

6.

Provide technical support to end-users and staff regarding hardware-related issues, troubleshooting problems and coordinating repairs or replacements as needed.

7.

Create and maintain documentation related to hardware configurations, manuals and support procedures.

8.

Assist in developing and maintaining hardware-related disaster recovery plans to ensure IT infrastructure resilience and quick recovery in the event of hardware failure.

9.

Contribute to the development and management of the hardware department budget, including resource allocation and cost control.

10.

Stay informed about emerging hardware technologies and make recommendations for hardware upgrades or improvements that align with the hospital's goals.

11.

Ensure that hardware infrastructure complies with healthcare regulations, industry standards and best practices.

Required Skill Sets:

1. Basic knowledge of hardware components, troubleshooting techniques and hardware maintenance.

2. Proficiency in hardware inventory management and asset tracking.

3. Familiarity with cyber security best practices and hardware security measures.
