Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on IT infrastructure professional to independently own servers, networks, and IT operations in a 247 news and broadcast environment. This role demands strong technical expertise, high accountability, and quick response to time-critical issues to ensure uninterrupted operations across locations.

Key Responsibilities

Own and manage Windows/Linux servers, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, system monitoring, patching, and backups.
Manage network infrastructure including FortiGate firewalls, routers, switches, and LAN/WAN/VLAN environments.
Ensure 247 operational continuity by proactively monitoring systems and responding to urgent outages.
Support disaster recovery and system restoration during failures.
Provide L2/L3 technical support for newsroom, studio, and office users.
Implement and maintain IT security controls, endpoint protection, patching, and access policies.
Coordinate effectively with editorial and non-technical teams to resolve issues with minimal disruption.
Maintain system, network, and SOP documentation.

What Were Looking For

Bachelors degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering.
3–6 years of hands-on experience in System Administration and Network Engineering.
Strong expertise in Windows/Linux servers, FortiGate firewalls, and networking (VLAN, DNS, DHCP).
Proven ability to handle critical issues under pressure with ownership and speed.
Comfortable working in a 247, on-call operational environment.
Experience in media, broadcast, or 247 operations is a strong advantage.
