About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Junior DevOps Engineer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in managing cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation. The ideal candidate will work closely with our development and operations teams to streamline software delivery, enhance system reliability, and support continuous integration and deployment practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure (AWS / Azure / GCP).
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Support containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Maintain and improve system performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
• Monitor application and infrastructure health using monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, etc.).
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline the release process.
• Troubleshoot deployment issues and system outages in production environments.
• Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to incident response.
• Document system configurations, standard operating procedures, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in a DevOps, System Administration, or Cloud Infrastructure role.
• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS preferred).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Working knowledge of Git and version control systems.
• Understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Exposure to scripting languages like Python or Bash.
• Basic understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps culture.
