Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our accounting team in a jewelry manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will assist in managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and support compliance with accounting regulations specific to the jewelry and precious metals industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with daily accounting entries (sales, purchases, expenses, and bank transactions) in ERP/accounting software e.g., Tally
Reconcile bank statements and vendor/customer accounts.
Process invoices, purchase orders, and payment vouchers.
Maintain and update inventory records, especially gold, diamonds, and other precious stones.
Support in preparing GST returns, TDS, and other statutory filings.
Maintain documentation and records as per audit and compliance requirements.
Assist in audits – internal and statutory.
Manage petty cash transactions and records.

Key Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Commerce, or Finance.
1–2 years of experience in accounting.
Knowledge of accounting standards and Indian taxation (GST, TDS).
Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and other accounting software.
Ability to work under tight deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
