Machine Installation & Commissioning: Supervise and participate in the installation and setup of major testing equipment such as brake testers, suspension testers, headlight aligners, speedometers, side-slip testers, exhaust gas analyzers, and axle play detectors. Coordinate with OEMs and contractors during the installation and calibration phase. Ensure adherence to manufacturer specifications and safety protocols. Maintenance & Operations: Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical systems and testing equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to minimize downtime. Maintain detailed maintenance logs, inspection reports, and performance data. Technical Support: Assist in equipment calibration and validation to ensure testing accuracy. Provide technical guidance to operators and technicians. Ensure compliance with CMVR (Central Motor Vehicle Rules) standards and ARAI/MORTH guidelines. Project Coordination: Support in layout planning, utilities setup (compressed air, hydraulic, etc.), and workflow design for the testing lanes. Liaise with civil, electrical, and IT teams during installation phases. Coordinate with vendors for AMC and spare parts management. Safety & Compliance: Implement safety measures during equipment installation and operation. Ensure environmental and statutory compliance related to the testing infrastructure.
