Job Title: Electrical & Electronics Engineer Location: Gandhinagar & Pan-India (Hybrid + Site Travel) Company: Bharat Ecolabs A fast-growing cleantech startup developing decentralized, technology-driven sewage treatment solutions. We blend engineering, biotechnology, and IoT to deliver sustainable, cost‑effective wastewater treatment for communities across India. Key Responsibilities Electrical Design & Drafting: Create detailed electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams for packaged Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs) using CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical). Select electrical components (motors, starters, VFDs, sensors) and specify cable sizes, protective devices, and earthing arrangements. IoT Integration: Collaborate with the IoT/AI team to embed sensors and data-loggers for real‑time monitoring of inlet/outlet parameters (pH, turbidity, flow, DO, etc.). Ensure seamless electrical connectivity for telemetry modules (LoRaWAN, NB-IoT, GSM) and integration with SCADA/DMP platforms. Site Compliance & Commissioning: Oversee electrical installation on site, verify wiring, terminations, and safety compliance (IEC, NEC, local regulations). Conduct pre‑commissioning checks, troubleshoot electrical faults, and support plant start‑up & handover. Documentation & Support: Prepare as‑built drawings, operation & maintenance (O&M) manuals, and spare-part lists. Provide technical support to operations teams and train site staff on electrical systems and IoT dashboards. Qualifications & Experience Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (B.E./B.Tech). Experience: Approximately 2 years in electrical design and site execution, preferably in water/wastewater treatment, process plants, or industrial automation. Technical Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical or equivalent CAD software. Knowledge of PLC/DCS basics, VFD configuration, and motor control centers. Familiarity with IoT hardware (sensors, data loggers) and communication protocols. Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of electrical safety standards and site‐inspection best practices. Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem‑solving mindset, and ability to work in cross‑functional teams. Terms & Compensation Probation: 6 months Probation Salary: ₹25,000 per month Post-Confirmation: Salary to be reviewed and revised upon successful completion of probation.
