ob Title: Polymer Engineer – Rubber Compounding (Stock, QA & Client Coordination) Location: Bidadi, Bangalore (Nearby candidates or daily commuters preferred) Job Type: Full-Time Experience: 2–5 Years in Rubber Compounding or a Similar Role Company Overview: We are a reputed name in the rubber compounding industry , dedicated to delivering consistent, high-quality rubber solutions. We're seeking a Polymer Engineer with technical expertise and strong coordination skills to manage stock, quality, and client interactions at our Bidadi facility. Key Responsibilities: Stock Management & Billing: Monitor and maintain raw material and finished goods stock levels. Coordinate with accounts/ERP systems for accurate and timely billing. Quality Assurance: Implement and manage quality checklists for incoming materials, in-process compounds, and final products. Oversee lab testing and ensure quality parameters are met before dispatch. Client Handling: Communicate effectively with clients regarding technical queries, order updates, and quality-related concerns. Ensure customer specifications and timelines are met. Production Scheduling: Plan and coordinate daily production schedules in alignment with client demands and stock levels. Work closely with production and dispatch teams to ensure workflow efficiency. Technical Oversight (No Machine Operation): Possess working knowledge of Intermix and Kneader operations to understand processing parameters and quality impacts. Use this knowledge to assist in troubleshooting and process improvements (not machine operation). Testing & Dispatch Coordination: Ensure timely testing of batches (tensile, hardness, rheometer, etc.) before dispatch. Coordinate dispatches in line with client requirements and internal quality approvals. Qualifications: B.Tech/B.E. in Polymer Engineering, Rubber Technology, or equivalent. 2-5 years of experience in rubber compounding or polymer QA roles. Knowledge of rubber mixing processes, testing standards, and industry practices. Skills & Competencies: Understanding of Intermix and Kneader principles (non-operational role) Strong organizational skills for stock control and production scheduling Working knowledge of rubber testing equipment and quality protocols Proficiency in billing or inventory software (e.g., Tally, SAP) Excellent communication and client management skills Preferred Candidate Profile: Residing in or around Bidadi, Bangalore , or able to commute daily Familiar with rubber compounding plant environments Strong attention to detail and process-driven mindset Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month Benefits: Leave encashment Provident Fund Schedule: Day shift Evening shift Morning shift Night shift Weekend availability Supplemental Pay: Overtime pay Performance bonus Yearly bonus Ability to commute/relocate: Bidadi, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred) Application Question(s): Expected Salary?
