Purchase Executive

Role & responsibilities

1. Maintain strong working relationships with our vendors.

2. Review purchasing agreements with vendors and maintain open lines of communication with those vendors.

3. Develop an active process for measuring supply inventory and determining purchasing needs based on quarterly and annual numbers.

4. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and establish long-term purchasing arrangements with vendors when it is beneficial to the company.

5. Compare product deliveries with issued purchase orders and contact vendors when there are discrepancies.

6. Develop a supply base strategy that fits with business unit direction for technology, localization, and other requirements.

7. Identify cost savings to meet goals; develop cost modeling and automate the costing process.

8. Drive cross-functional teams on part qualification and work collaboratively with the supplier for capacity planning and ramp.

9. Developing criteria and checklists to meet the company's requirements in terms of product specification, quality, service, and reliability standards helps the purchasing team/procurement team evaluate suppliers' proposals as well as measure the suppliers' performance.

10. Resolve the logistics, supply, and product specification and quality issues concerning incoming supply with the suppliers.

11. Analyze and evaluate the product pricing trends on the existing as well as new products to identify opportunities to purchase.

13. Involved in business process engineering. Collaborate with other Divisions to improve procurement-related processes and procedures.

14. Assist in any other ad-hoc task assigned by your superior or management.

15.Maintain control and ensure regulations for all import and export processes, and monitor work according to corporate and local policies and evaluate all new customer requirements, and supervise everyday operations according to standard procedures.

16. Work closely with the 3rd logistics Provider to resolve day-to-day issues that may occur.

17. Ensure compliance with GST norms from Customs Bonded Warehouse and NonBonded Transactions
