Role & responsibilities 1. Maintain strong working relationships with our vendors. 2. Review purchasing agreements with vendors and maintain open lines of communication with those vendors. 3. Develop an active process for measuring supply inventory and determining purchasing needs based on quarterly and annual numbers. 4. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and establish long-term purchasing arrangements with vendors when it is beneficial to the company. 5. Compare product deliveries with issued purchase orders and contact vendors when there are discrepancies. 6. Develop a supply base strategy that fits with business unit direction for technology, localization, and other requirements. 7. Identify cost savings to meet goals; develop cost modeling and automate the costing process. 8. Drive cross-functional teams on part qualification and work collaboratively with the supplier for capacity planning and ramp. 9. Role & responsibilities Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine welding requirements. Prepare materials for welding, including cutting metal components to the appropriate size and shape. Set up welding equipment, including gas tanks, torches, and regulators. Perform welding activities using the Tig welding process. Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards. Maintain welding equipment and troubleshoot any malfunctions. Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when welding. Requirements ITI, Diploma, or equivalent. Certification in Tig welding techniques. Experience in Tig welding of 2-4 years. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints. Understanding of welding safety practices and procedures. Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when necessary.
