Role & responsibilities 1. Maintain strong working relationships with our vendors. 2. Review purchasing agreements with vendors and maintain open lines of communication with those vendors. 3. Develop an active process for measuring supply inventory and determining purchasing needs based on quarterly and annual numbers. 4. Perform welding activities using the Tig welding process. Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards. Maintain welding equipment and troubleshoot any malfunctions. Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when welding. Requirements ITI, Diploma, or equivalent. Certification in Tig welding techniques. Experience in Tig welding of 2-4 years. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints. Understanding of welding safety practices and procedures. Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when necessary.
