Carenexs is a medical-centred startup committed to enabling dignified, connected living through compassionate care and human-centered innovation. As we launch our operations, we are seeking a Business Operations Manager to lead and coordinate the initial start-up phase.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Consultations and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Facilitate consultations and discussions with potential clients, partners, and care ecosystem stakeholders to refine and validate CareNexs offerings.
  • Collect, analyze, and synthesize insights from users and stakeholders to inform business and service strategies.
  • Represent CareNexs in meetings, forums, and local networks, ensuring that the companys mission and values are effectively communicated.

2. Establish and Manage Relationships and Partnerships

  • Identify, initiate, and maintain partnerships with healthcare providers, community organizations, technology partners, and service vendors.
  • Develop collaboration frameworks and partnership agreements that support CareNexs operational and strategic goals.
  • Build strong working relationships with local institutions and stakeholders in Cochin and beyond.
  • Ensure smooth coordination and communication between internal teams and external partners.

3. Strengthen Business and Operational Systems

  • Support the design and setup of operational processes from service delivery models to administrative systems.
  • Oversee day-to-day operational functions including logistics, vendor coordination, and documentation.
  • Contribute to business planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Identify and implement improvements to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.

4. Contribute to Strategic Growth and Innovation

  • Provide feedback and insights that shape CareNexs evolving business model, product design, and service delivery approach.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop pilot initiatives and new service lines.
  • Contribute to the creation of business development proposals, presentations, and impact reports.
  • Play an active role in shaping CareNexs culture and organizational identity during its formative years.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications and Experience

  • Masters degree in

    Business Administration, Management, Social Sciences, or related field

    .
  • Minimum

    5 years of experience

    in operations, business coordination, or project management ideally in startups, health, social impact, or service sectors.
  • Proven ability to build and manage relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in setting up or optimizing operational systems and processes.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to adapt to a dynamic and evolving environment.
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a small, entrepreneurial team.
