Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identification of potential trade lanes in the different sectors, subsequently, onboarding new

customers to MGH with focus on Hi-tech commodities air freight from China.

  • Leading, supporting and monitoring the performance of the sales force within a defined field of

responsibility.

  • Managing and developing PAN India stations for sales and business development.
  • Route management and development of defined markets.
  • Managing, developing and overseeing global agent’s relationships for defined markets

strengthening the trade lane.

  • Achieving and improving sales targets, and building relations with the customers.
  • identify new opportunities from the market for value additions offered by the product
  • Active role in understanding customers’ logistics plans, gaining customer and sales alignment, and

implementing the plans along with cross-functional teams to deliver team results.

  • Manage negotiation terms, implementation, and compliance as necessary, improve and align

intercompany processes.

  • Identify/implement actions towards the achievement of cost, speed, and sustainability targets.
  • Discover and identify new channels as defined in the annual strategy, negotiate contracts, and

test and build new accounts as needed.

  • Contribute to maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Understand department process flow, constantly looking for areas of improved efficiency.
  • Ensure all customers' standard operating procedures are followed and updated.
  • Drive for results and sustainable success within specified geography/corridor/customer cluster

across the country and across borders by building long-term understanding with key customers

and creating joint value with key stakeholders

Job Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in freight business specializing in inbound/outbound export of

different commodities – focus on Hi-tech products.

  • Must be fluent in local language and should have local connections.
  • Demonstrated Commercial acumen in Freight Solutions, Product Portfolio, and Strategic Mindset
  • Good knowledge of Tender and RFQ Management and self-starter to adopt new IT Systems and

Processes.

  • Ability to identify customer pain points using Qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Excellent management and communications skills.
