Job Summary:

As Backend Engineer, you would be building and integrating APIs on our legacy systems in Java. A lot of the customer issues require going through the code and logs, analysing the failure point in a user journey. You would be a good fit if you are an “aggressive problem solver” with strong analytical skills.

What You’ll Do: -

Design, develop, and maintain scalable customer facing APIs to handle large volumes of traffic efficiently and reliably. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Work closely with the backend team to debug issues and identify error origination. - Takes up initiatives to enhance logging and monitoring. - Continuously learn and adapt to new tools, frameworks, and technologies as they arise, embracing a growth mindset.

Requirements: -

3+ years of experienced Java Backend Engineer - Proficient in Java, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems. - Good knowledge building applications using Spring MVC & Spring Boot - Solid understanding of object-oriented programming. - Skill for writing reusable Java libraries. - Knowledge of concurrency patterns in Java. - Familiarity with concepts of MVC, JDBC, and RESTful. - A self-starter requiring minimal supervision. - Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.

Nice to Haves: -

Has Hands-on experience working with an on-prem infrastructure - Good understanding of BSE/Investments APIs are a major plus
