Java Software Engineer

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with a solid understanding of AI concepts, including generative AI and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in end-to-end solution delivery, particularly in Java applications within enterprise environments. This role requires an individual who can troubleshoot issues in AI systems and ensure smooth deployment and operation of backend services within an existing ecosystem.

Primary Skills:

Strong Java Backend Development: Extensive experience in Java, particularly in designing and delivering solutions across enterprise applications. Familiarity with system engineering and end-to-end solution delivery is crucial.

Strong Spring Boot: Proficiency in Spring Boot for Java application development.

Database Management: Expertise in working with SQL databases and applying efficient querying techniques.

Enterprise Architecture: Experience with enterprise-level systems, microservice architecture, including familiarity with traditional VM enterprise environments and basic Linux skills.

AI Concepts & Generative AI: Familiarity with generative AI systems, including advance prompt engineering, token utilization optimization, understanding of caching techniques, concepts of token, cost optimization and guard rails,

RAG Application Troubleshooting: Understanding how RAG applications work and the ability to troubleshoot issues in these systems.

The role is focused on end-to-end solution delivery, ensuring that the candidate understands the full cycle from development to production.

The team primarily uses Microsoft architecture and works with VM-based infrastructure. While AWS knowledge is not essential, basic understanding of traditional enterprise environments (such as Tomcat) is preferred.

Secondary Skills:

Front end: Good knowledge of Angular, JS

Cloud Awareness: Basic knowledge of cloud services and understanding of enterprise infrastructure, although experience with cloud services like AWS is not mandatory.

Work Timings:

The candidate will be working in APAC time zones, particularly India (IST) or Singapore Time (SGT), with a typical workday starting at 8 AM IST.
