Java Developer

Position Summary

We are currently seeking a Senior Java Developer who will be responsible for designing and developing various tech products. The person should be goal oriented, possess exceptional attention to detail, and have outstanding interpersonal skills. This role will involve working with other team members to implement various projects in an efficient manner. It also involves working with other teams and co-ordinate with them.

Key Responsibility Areas

• The person will be owner of certain tech products and will be responsible for its design, development and maintenance
• Help the team in coming up with good design in terms of technology to ensure the application works with maximum speed and is scalable
• Writing high quality code which is easy to re-use and maintain
• Extensively testing own modules to make sure the application works without any issues on production
• Working with other teams to identify more opportunities for adding new features
• Constantly learning new technologies and also adding knowledge of the domain

Skills

• Strong knowledge of Java fundamentals
• Proficient in REST API development
• Experience of different Java technologies like Spring, JSP, Hibernate, Solr
• Knowledge of any Relational Database is a must
• Experience with any server such as Apache and Tomcat
• Knowledge of Big Data. Cloud or Machine Learning is a plus
• Working experience on new technologies like Solr, Elastic Search, Kafka etc is a plus
• Excellent command on English language (Spoken and Written)
• Passion for excellence with high attention to details
• Ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere
• Penchant to learn new technologies

Qualifications

Education:

• B.E. in Computer Engineering or an equivalent degree (B.Tech, MCA)
• Minimum 3 years of extensive Java experience
