Job Description: Java Modernization Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Java Modernization Engineer to lead the modernization of legacy Java applications into secure, scalable, and cloud-native microservices. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in legacy Java systems and hands-on experience in modern Java frameworks, cloud platforms, and CI/CD automation.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, analyze, and document existing legacy Java applications to identify performance, scalability, and security gaps.
• Design and develop robust microservices using modern Java frameworks such as Spring Boot or Quarkus.
• Execute migration of monolithic applications to microservices, applying strategies like Strangler Fig, lift-and-shift, or complete rewrites.
• Integrate and deploy solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP using containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Refactor and upgrade legacy code to modern Java versions (Java 11/17/21) following best practices.
• Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and Product teams to ensure smooth migration and delivery.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation and API specifications.
• Ensure adherence to software design principles (SOLID, DRY) and promote coding excellence.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for modernization and cloud adoption

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
