Java Developer (GCP) (5+ years)

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled

Java Developer

(GCP)

with 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in core Java, object-oriented programming, and modern frameworks, along with a solid understanding of software engineering best practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance applications using Java and related technologies.Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and QA teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and integrations with third-party systems.Optimize application performance, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following coding standards and best practices.Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers.Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues within established SLAs.Stay updated with emerging Java technologies, frameworks, and tools to recommend improvements and innovations.

Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Java development.Strong proficiency in Core Java, Java 8+, and object-oriented programming concepts.Proven expertise with Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, and Microservices architecture.Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).Strong understanding of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).Exposure to front-end technologies such as Angular or React.Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized applications.Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
