The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend services using a microservices architecture. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in an agile environmentResponsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop RESTful APIs and scalable microservices architecture.
• Manage PostgreSQL databases and write efficient, production-grade SQL.
• Integrate AWS cloud services like EC2.
• Can collaborate with frontend developers as well.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and software planning.
• Contribute to automation, testing, and deployment processes.
  

Technical Skills:

• Java 17 and Spring Boot
• Cloud AWS(EC2, etc…)
• PostgreSQL and advanced SQL querying
• GitHub for source control
• ⁠Microservices architecture and distributed systems
• ⁠Docker for containerization
  

Good to have or Mindset

• Strong problem-solving orientation
• Strong expertise in AWS (AWS Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer certification is a plus).
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools and scripting (Python, Bash).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices (monitoring, observability, security).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and identity management (IAM).
