Java Application Support Engineer

As a Java Application Support Engineer, your role involves providing L2/L3 application support for Java-based enterprise applications. Your key responsibilities will include: - Providing L2/L3 application support for Java-based enterprise applications. - Monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving production incidents within defined SLAs. - Performing application deployments, configuration, and environment support. - Working closely with development teams for bug fixes, enhancements, and release support. - Conducting root cause analysis (RCA) and implementing preventive measures. - Supporting Camunda BPM processes by monitoring workflows, troubleshooting job executions, and deploying process definitions. - Utilizing ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, JIRA, or similar tools to track, document, and resolve issues. - Collaborating with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipelines and release management. - Ensuring compliance with change management and production support best practices. In order to excel in this role, you must possess the following must-have skills: - 7+ years of Java/J2EE application support experience. - Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills, including logs, exceptions, and performance issues. - Experience with application deployments, both manual and automated. - Familiarity with ticketing tools like ServiceNow, JIRA, or Remedy. - Good understanding of SQL for data validation and issue debugging. - Exposure to incident, change, and problem management processes within the ITIL framework. - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.,
