About The Opportunity A rapidly scaling IT consulting & digital engineering services firm operating in the Banking, FinTech, and e-commerce sectors, we deliver cloud-native platforms and API-first solutions for global enterprises. Our teams transform legacy monoliths into resilient microservices that accelerate digital innovation and real-time customer experiences. Role & Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy Spring Boot microservices delivering high-volume RESTful APIs. Implement service discovery, load balancing, and API gateway patterns using Spring Cloud/Netflix OSS. Ensure performance, scalability, and resilience through containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes). Integrate asynchronous messaging with Kafka or RabbitMQ to enable event-driven architectures. Automate build, test, and release workflows with Git, Jenkins, and quality gates. Create clear technical documentation and mentor junior engineers on best practices. Skills & Qualifications Must-Have 3+ years Java 8+ development experience building Spring Boot microservices. Expertise in REST, JSON, HTTP, and API contract design with Swagger/OpenAPI. Hands-on with Docker containers and Kubernetes deployments in production. Proficiency with unit/integration testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito. Experience integrating message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ. Preferred Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud services (EKS, AKS, GKE). Understanding of API security standards including OAuth2 and JWT.
