As an ITSM Developer at Wipro, your primary responsibilities will include designing, developing, and implementing IT Service Management (ITSM) solutions using platforms like ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, or similar tools. Additionally, you will be tasked with designing, developing, and implementing IT Asset Management (ITAM) solutions using platforms such as ServiceNow, Flexera, or equivalent software. Customizing and configuring ITSM & ITAM tools to align with business requirements will also be a crucial aspect of your role. Furthermore, you will be expected to develop workflows, scripts, and automation to optimize IT service delivery, collaborate with IT and business teams to gather requirements, and translate them into technical solutions. Your role will involve understanding system integrations and data migrations, performing data analysis and reporting on IT asset inventory, ensuring compliance with software licensing and asset management policies, and troubleshooting and resolving issues related to ITSM/ITAM tools. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in ITSM and ITAM platforms such as ManageEngine, Flexera, BMC Remedy, etc., strong scripting and programming skills (JavaScript, Python, etc.), knowledge of the ITIL framework and best practices, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills are essential. Moreover, the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team will be critical for success in this position. In addition to the technical aspects of the role, you will be required to ensure the completion of necessary trainings and certifications, develop Proof of Concepts (POCs), case studies, demos, etc., based on market and customer research, and contribute to Wipro's thought leadership by presenting a point of view on solution design and architecture through white papers, blogs, etc. Mentoring developers, designers, and junior architects for their career development, and contributing to the architecture practice by conducting selection interviews are also key responsibilities.
