ITIL Manager

Position Overview Join ShyftLabs as an ITIL Manager for an IBM WCS (WebSphere Commerce Server) Ecommerce Project in the Retail industry. This role combines technical expertise and leadership to design and implement innovative ecommerce solutions, leveraging WCS architecture and Java/J2EE technologies ShyftLabs is a growing data product company that was founded in early 2020, and works primarily with Fortune 500 companies. Job Responsibilities Design, plan and implement IT solutions for WCS with Java J2EE environment. Lead mid-level planning exercises with developers/engineers. Anticipate issues and risks at the module level and escalate appropriately. Project manage scope, time and quality throughout the project lifecycle. Facilitate and drive workshops and client meetings to help to translate business requirements into system requirements. Ability to work well with different staff levels within and out of core competency. Ability to translate highly technical solutions/problems to audiences at varying technical levels. Strong ability to prepare and present technical documentation. Communicates in a professional manner when interacting across staff levels and internal/external customers. Understands the importance of communicating risk assessment Good communication and analytical skills. Basic Qualifications Strong design and implementation experience in WebSphere Commerce v7.0, v8.0. Should be able to create blueprint designs/architecture landscapes for complex ecommerce eco systems. Strong understanding of WCS architecture and able to provide right design decisions. Experience in integrating, designing and developing custom solutions within WCS. Hands-on experience with utilizing various sub systems of WCS i.e., catalog, order, member, promotion etc. Strong Java J2EE experience. Database programming skills. End-to-end experience in software development lifecycle and familiar with agile methodologies. Hands On experience in SOLR, WCS SOA and REST framework. Executed at least 2 WCS end-to-end implementation. Technical leadership skills for managing a track of work and defining a comprehensive solution leading toward a common vision.
