Job Description

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a skilled IT Systems & Endpoint Administrator with expertise

in Microsoft 365 administration, mobile device and endpoint management

(MDM/EMM), and remote system support. The ideal candidate will be

responsible for maintaining and enhancing our cloud productivity platform,

securing and managing endpoints, and providing remote technical support

for users across the organization using both Microsoft and third-party tools

as required by customer environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and manage Microsoft 365 tenant services including Exchange Online,

SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Entra ID.

  • Assign, monitor, and manage Microsoft 365 licenses and security groups.
  • Configure and administer Microsoft Intune (or other MDM platforms) for mobile devices,

laptops, and desktops, as well as support and manage third-party endpoint management

tools as required by customer environments.

  • Enforce compliance policies, endpoint security standards, and application deployment

for managed devices.

  • Provide remote support for users, including troubleshooting connectivity,

authentication, and application issues.

  • Implement and monitor multi-factor authentication (MFA), conditional access, and data

loss prevention (DLP) rules.

  • Assist in configuring and managing security baselines, patch management, and remote

management tools.

  • Leverage Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) solutions to:
  • Monitor patch compliance, system health, and endpoint performance.
  • Manage automated patch deployments and ensure timely updates.
  • Monitor alerts, tickets, and remediation tasks to maintain uptime and user productivity.
  • Generate reports for proactive maintenance and capacity planning.
  • Document processes, standard operating procedures, and configurations for IT

knowledge base.

  • Collaborate with IT security and networking teams to maintain a secure and efficient

environment.

  • Proven experience in Microsoft 365 administration, including license management and

service configuration.

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Endpoint Manager, or similar MDM/EMM

solutions.

  • Familiarity with third-party remote management platforms (e.g., VMware Workspace

ONE, Jamf, MobileIron, or comparable tools).

  • Knowledge of Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) identity management and

security policies.

  • Strong understanding of Windows, macOS, and Apple iOS/iPadOS endpoint configuration,

patching, and compliance enforcement.

  • Proficiency in using remote support solutions such as Endpoint Manager remote

assistance, RDP, or third-party remote support tools.

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical

issues.

  • Strong communication and documentation abilities for both technical teams and endusers.
  • Preferred Skills :
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or Enterprise

Administrator Expert.

  • Experience with PowerShell scripting to automate Microsoft 365 and endpoint tasks.
  • Familiarity with firewall, VPN, and remote connectivity solutions.
  • Exposure to cybersecurity practices, including CIS Controls or NIST framework.
  • Nice-to-Haves :
  • Experience configuring and supporting Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations through Entra ID.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft billing processes, license usage monitoring, and right-sizing

Microsoft 365 licenses for cost optimization. Advanced familiarity with Remote

Monitoring and Management (RMM) solutions, including tailoring automation policies

and integrating with ticketing systems.

  • Familiarity with third-party email protection and security tools (e.g., Mimecast,

Proofpoint, Barracuda, etc.).

  • Experience with backup and archiving solutions such as Veeam, Datto, or Barracuda

Cloud-to-Cloud Backup.

  • Exposure to hybrid environments involving on-premises and cloud infrastructure

integration.

  • Familiarity with compliance audits or IT governance frameworks.
  • Knowledge or experience in security incident response and recovery processes.
  • Participation in or leading cost savings initiatives through license and resource

optimization.

  • Strong documentation quality practices with ongoing updates to IT knowledge bases and

SOPs.

  • Experience in training delivery and knowledge sharing to improve end-user proficiency

and reduce support requests.

  • Experience with AWS cloud services, including identity and access integration with

Microsoft Entra ID, AWS Single Sign-On (IAM Identity Center), or hybrid cloud

environments.
