Designation: IT Support – Patch Management (Intern)Department: IT / Information SecurityReporting To: Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)Open Positions: 2Role Type: InternshipDuration: 3-monthsSection DetailsPrimary ObjectiveEnsure timely and secure deployment of patches to all endpoint devices toreduce vulnerabilities and maintain system performance.Key

Responsibilities

  • Monitor desktops, laptops, and other endpoints for missing OS and
software updates.
  • Schedule and deploy patches using approved patch management tools.
  • Test updates on a pilot group before organization-wide rollout.
  • Track and report patch compliance metrics to the CISO.
  • Escalate patch failures or post-update issues.
  • Document processes, maintain patch logs, and ensure audit readiness.
  • Troubleshoot patch-related problems in coordination with senior IT staff.
  • Ensure all patching activities comply with the organization’s security
policies.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor of Engineering (BE) – Freshers eligible
  • Basic knowledge of Windows/Mac OS and common enterprise software.
  • Understanding of basic networking concepts (IP, DNS, LAN/WAN).
  • Familiarity with update processes for OS and applications.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to follow processes and work under supervision.
