IT Support Executive

Role & responsibilities

1.

Assist in the maintenance and management of software systems and applications, ensuring they are operational and up-to-date.

2.

Provide technical support to end-users and staff regarding software-related issues, troubleshooting problems and coordinating repairs or updates as needed.

3.

Assist in implementing software updates, patches and security measures to protect against cyber security threats.

4.

Help in creating and maintaining documentation related to software configurations, user guides and support procedures.

5.

Collaborate with software vendors and service providers to facilitate software support, troubleshooting and updates.

6.

Assist in providing training and support to end-users and staff on the use of software systems and applications.

7.

Maintain records of software licenses and subscriptions, track usage and support procurement and renewals as needed.

8.

Ensure that software systems comply with healthcare regulations, industry standards and best practices.

9.

Assist in testing software applications, identifying and reporting bugs and working with development teams to ensure quality and reliability.

10.

Stay informed about emerging software technologies and assist in evaluating their potential applications in the hospital.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Basic knowledge of software applications, troubleshooting techniques and software maintenance.

2. Familiarity with cyber security best practices and software security measures.

3. Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

4. A willingness to learn and adapt to new software technologies and best practices.
