About The Role
We are seeking a proactive and dependable IT Support team member to join our dynamic organization. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our Microsoft 365 environment while providing essential technical assistance to our internal teams. Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a foundational understanding of Microsoft 365 administration and IT support principles. Prior experience in a helpdesk or IT support role is preferred but not mandatory. A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn are essential for success in this role. Educational qualifications typically include a diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Responsibilities
The IT Support team member will be responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure optimal IT operations within the organization:
- Manage and administer Microsoft 365 accounts, including user creation, license management, and access permissions to ensure appropriate access controls.
- Provide first-level troubleshooting for hardware, software, and connectivity issues to minimize downtime and resolve user problems efficiently.
- Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of collaboration tools such as Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint to enhance team productivity.
- Implement and support data security practices, including password resets, multi-factor authentication (MFA) setup, and activity monitoring to safeguard organizational data.
- Support software installations, updates, and system configurations to ensure all systems are current and functioning correctly.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT processes, troubleshooting steps, and user guides to facilitate knowledge sharing and process consistency.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to implement new solutions and improve existing systems.
- Monitor system performance and security alerts to proactively identify and address potential issues.
