Role Description

The IT Security Specialist supports project teams by identifying and resolving technical security issues that could impact delivery. The role focuses on implementing practical, risk-based security solutions while ensuring compliance with company standards and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Support project teams by addressing and resolving security-related issues.
Identify, analyze, and mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities.
Implement effective, risk-based security solutions to meet project needs.
Provide expert advice on IT security best practices and compliance requirements.
Troubleshoot security issues across networks and systems (Linux, Windows).
Investigate security incidents and recommend preventive measures.
Maintain and update security processes, documentation, and standards.
Stay informed about emerging security threats and technologies.

Skills & Experience

Strong understanding of network and operating systems (Linux, Windows).
Good knowledge of information security principles (least privilege, defense in depth).
Hands-on experience with:

CrowdStrike EDR, WAF, Digital Certificates, AWS/Azure Security

Experience in risk analysis, incident response, firewalls, vulnerability testing, and compliance.
Familiar with PCI DSS, ISO, or ISM standards.
Relevant certifications (CISA, CISSP, CISM, etc.) are desirable.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
