About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and results-drivenIT
Project Manager
to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of cloud-based projects for 24*7 support model. In this role, you will work closely with Stakeholders such as
technical delivery team
, Customers, Other vendor team and AWS
team to ensure that tickets are prioritized, addressed, communicated to customers as well as all required stakeholders. Daily priority calls to ensure tickets/workloads are assigned and addressed based on priority and manage full transparency with immediate customer counterpart. This is a critical role that requires someone who managed earlier support engagements running in in
24*7 model
, able to manage all stakeholders, able to drive continuous automation, able to priorities issue based on criticality and able to manage communication with technical team in order to drive open issues, backlogs etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage the full life cycle of 24*7 cloud-based support projects.
- Manage key customer discussions/meetings from customer premise as and when required
- Ensure round the clock handover of critical issues are managed and critical issues are being worked upon round the clock
- Lead projects/change requests across AWS, Azure, or GCP environments, ensuring alignment with customer goals, timelines, and budgets.
- Triage by classifying support tickets based on their nature and urgency.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans for new project or change request, schedules, and timelines; manage changes proactively to scope, resources, or timelines.
- Coordinate and align efforts between technical delivery teams, partner team, customers, and third-party vendors.
- Ensure all projects/change requests are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while meeting high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
- Apply structured execution methodologies, leveraging Agile practices, planning tools, and strong risk and issue management.
- Continuous communication and collaboration across all stakeholders.
- Publish weekly KPIs and metrics with leaders; Promptly escalate risks and blockers to leadership when needed.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation throughout the project lifecycle E.g. Master RCA/Anomalies document for recurring issues, User Guide document.
- Manage team conflict, take ownership on managing team s roster in balanced way and rotation is managed well to avoid personal grievance
- Align with organization policies and compliance and ensure its followed
- Work with customer technical team and our team closely for production instance stabilization plan w.r.t stability for long term.
Requirements:
Must Have:
Minimum 6+ years of experience in Project Management Methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.) with at least 2+ year in cloud-based projects.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (mandatory).
Good to Have:
Project management certifications such as PMP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) are preferred.
Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals) are a plus.
Domain knowledge on Energy sector and worked earlier on energy sector projects will be value added.
Good to have any master s degree.
