IT Operations Lead

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and guide engineers across endpoint management, IAM, networking, and system administration.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing technical guidance and handling escalations.
• Plan, prioritize, and allocate tasks ensuring timely delivery and SLA adherence.
• Drive knowledge-sharing, documentation, and continuous process improvements.

Endpoint Management & Security

• Oversee configuration, deployment, and lifecycle management of Windows, Linux, and macOS endpoints.
• Ensure compliance with security standards through patching, encryption, and endpoint policies.
• Lead vulnerability remediation initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Implement automation for patch management, software distribution, and compliance reporting.

Networking & IAM

• Provide oversight of network security, connectivity troubleshooting, and endpoint-to-network integration.
• Manage IAM systems to enforce least privilege, role-based access, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with security teams to enforce MFA, SSO, and Zero Trust principles.

System Administration (Linux & macOS)

• Act as SME for Linux and macOS environments ensuring availability, scalability, and security.
• Troubleshoot OS-level, configuration, and integration issues.
• Manage updates, hardening, and performance tuning across systems.

Process & Compliance

• Establish and maintain ITIL/ITSM-aligned processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge).
• Ensure audit readiness and compliance with ISO 27001, SOC2, GDPR, and internal governance standards.
• Track KPIs and prepare operational and security reports.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 7+ years in IT Infrastructure/Security roles, with at least 23 years in a leadership or SME capacity.
• Expertise in Endpoint Management tools (Intune, Endpoint Central, Kandji, Jamf).
• Experience with Vulnerability Management platforms (Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7).
• Proficiency with IAM solutions (Okta, OneLogin, Azure AD).
• Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Firewalls).
• Hands-on with Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu/CentOS), macOS, and Windows administration.
• Scripting/automation experience (PowerShell, Bash, Python preferred).
• Deep understanding of IT security principles and regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
