Position Overview
The IT Networking & Infrastructure Executive will be responsible for the end-to-end management of CORE EHSs corporate IT systems, including network administration, hardware/software management, server & database operations, cybersecurity protocols, asset management, cloud backups, and digital security systems.
This role ensures smooth IT operations across all offices (PAN India) and supports project teams with critical IT infrastructure needs.
The ideal candidate must be highly reliable, technically strong, process-driven, and capable of independently managing all IT-related activities with strict documentation and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
A. Network Administration & Infrastructure Management
- Manage and monitor the LAN, WAN, WiFi, routers, switches, firewalls, and leased line connections.
- Ensure 100% uptime of corporate network and internet.
- Conduct regular network health checks, speed tests, and troubleshooting.
- Manage VPN access for branch offices and remote users.
- Implement network security protocols and restrictions as per company policies.
B. Hardware & System Management
- Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of
desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, projectors
, and other IT equipment. - Maintain AMC contracts for IT hardware.
- Ensure preventive maintenance of all IT systems.
- Manage
formatting, OS installation, antivirus installation
, and performance optimization.
C. Software Management Purchase, Installation, Renewals
- Manage procurement of all licensed software like
MS Office, Antivirus, Adobe, Tally, CoreEHS software
, etc. - Maintain a
renewal tracker
for all subscriptions and annual software licenses. - Coordinate vendor evaluation, comparison, and quotation approvals for software purchases.
- Ensure legal compliance by maintaining
genuine software inventory
. - Maintain documentation of all license keys, renewal dates, and serial numbers.
D. IT Inventory & Asset Record Keeping
- Maintain complete inventory of:
- Laptops/desktops
- Printers/scanners
- Network devices
- Biometrics & digital locks
- CCTV cameras
- VR devices, animation equipment
- Software licenses
- Tagging & maintaining asset codes, issuing-returning process to employees.
- Maintain IT Stock Register and MIS for management review.
E. Server Management & Database Backups
- Manage local/remote servers for:
- Company software applications
- Shared drives
- Backup servers
- Ensure
daily, weekly, and monthly backups
of: - Company databases
- Project files
- Financial records
- HR / Admin records
- Maintain logs of all backup activities.
- Ensure data restoration testing at regular intervals.
- Monitor storage utilization and performance of server infrastructure.
F. IT Security & Data Protection
- Implement data security policies (passwords, access control, restricted folders).
- Monitor unauthorized software installations or risky websites.
- Maintain firewall rules and email security filters.
- Ensure compliance with
CoreEHS Data Protection Policy
. - Monitor and report cybersecurity incidents.
G. CCTV & Digital Security Systems
- Manage CCTV infrastructure across all offices.
- Ensure uptime, recording storage, and system health.
- Provide footage as required by management.
- Maintain
Digital Door Locks / Access Control Systems
: - Biometric devices
- Smart locks
- Visitor access systems
- Handle repair, replacement, and integration with attendance systems.
H. Email, Domain, Cloud & IT Accounts Management
- Manage corporate email IDs, domain renewals, SSL certificates.
- Create, deactivate, and maintain IT access for new joiners and resigning employees.
- Manage cloud storage (Google Drive, OneDrive, AWS, Azure as applicable).
- Maintain admin rights and security configurations.
I. IT Purchase Management
- Evaluate vendors and prepare comparison sheets for approval.
- Ensure cost-effective procurement with quality assurance.
- Maintain purchase records, warranties, and invoices.
- Coordinate with accounts for billing and AMC tracking.
J. Support to All Departments
- Provide IT support to:
- Animation & Software Teams (system upgrades, GPU systems, rendering machines).
- HR & Admin (attendance systems, MS Teams).
- Business Development (device configuration for presentations).
- Training/AR-VR Teams (device testing, internet setup).
- Manage portable routers, data cards, VR devices and ensure all equipment is ready for client demos.
K. Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare monthly reports on:
- IT Inventory
- Server health
- Backup logs
- Renewals
- Network uptime
- Any incidents/IT complaints
- Maintain SOPs for IT processes.
- Maintain updated IT policy handbook.
3. Additional Recommended Responsibilities (Optional but Valuable)
Cybersecurity Compliance
- Implement DLP-level controls for data movement.
- Monitor USB access and data transfers.
- Set up phishing awareness for employees.
Disaster Recovery Preparedness
- Maintain alternate internet solutions (dual ISP).
- Maintain failover systems and backup power for server room.
IT Infrastructure Planning
- Work with management on yearly IT purchase & upgrade plans.
- Suggest improvements for network optimization and cost reduction.
Vendor Management
- Maintain database of IT vendors for emergency support.
- Negotiate AMC contracts for cost savings.
4. Skills & Qualifications
Educational Qualification
- Diploma / Graduate in IT, Computer Science, or Networking.
- Certifications preferred:
- CCNA
- MCSA/MCSE
- CompTIA A+ / N+
- Cybersecurity basics
Technical Skills
- Strong networking knowledge (LAN, WAN, VLAN, Firewall).
- Hands-on experience with routers, switches, access points.
- Understanding of Windows Server, Domain Controller, Active Directory.
- Knowledge of backup tools, cloud storage, antivirus setup.
- Familiar with CCTV, digital locks, biometric systems.
