As the IT Infrastructure Sr. Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in planning, executing, and finalizing infrastructure-related projects to ensure their completion within the defined scope, budget, and timeline. Your responsibilities will involve coordinating internal resources and third-party vendors, managing risks effectively, and overseeing the successful delivery of various IT infrastructure solutions including networks, servers, data centers, cloud services, and security systems. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage end-to-end IT infrastructure projects such as network upgrades, data center migrations, and cloud implementations. - Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. - Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to guide project execution. - Coordinate cross-functional teams comprising system administrators, network engineers, and external vendors. - Monitor project progress continuously and make necessary plan adjustments to ensure objectives are met. - Identify potential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle and take proactive measures to mitigate them. - Ensure strict compliance with IT policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements. - Provide regular status reports to senior management and stakeholders to keep them informed. - Manage procurement activities and maintain strong vendor relationships for infrastructure components. - Conduct thorough post-project reviews and implement lessons learned for continuous improvement. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Preferably hold certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management credentials. - Possess a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in managing IT infrastructure projects. - Demonstrate a strong understanding of networking, servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud technologies. - Proficient in using project management tools like MS Project, Jira, and Trello for effective project execution. - Exhibit excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills essential for project management success. - Ability to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality and timeliness. - Familiarity with the ITIL framework and its application in project management processes. - Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. - Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices to ensure the security of IT infrastructure. - Proficiency in budgeting and financial management to effectively manage project costs and resources.
