IT Infrastructure Lead

Role Overview: As an IT Infrastructure Lead at MOBILE 2000, you will play a crucial role in setting up and managing the IT infrastructure for our fast-growing retail and technology company across Kuwait and GCC countries. You will be responsible for overseeing systems, networks, and data center operations to ensure seamless functionality and security. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the full setup of the new headquarters IT infrastructure including network, cabling, VLANs, VPNs, and firewalls. - Design and implement LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN solutions for the new facility. - Manage the VMware-based data center hosting critical applications such as C#/.NET + SQL. - Configure and secure Cisco, Fortinet, and Sophos firewalls. - Oversee PBX and CCTV systems in offices and stores. - Supervise the IT team comprising system admins and developers, and drive technology enhancements. - Administer VMware ESXi servers and Windows Server 2022 environments. - Manage SQL Server databases for internal applications. - Ensure backups, monitoring, and disaster-recovery readiness. Qualifications Required: - 6+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and system administration. - Proficiency in VMware, Windows Server, SQL Server, and network configuration. - Experience in managing firewalls (Cisco, Fortinet, Sophos). - Strong leadership and project-management skills, with preference given to those with experience in office relocation or network deployment. - Certifications such as CCNP, NSE, VCP, MCSA, or ITIL are advantageous.
