Job Description

Role Overview: As an IT Helpdesk Executive in our company located in Navi Mumbai, you will be responsible for providing technical support for hardware/software issues, maintaining ownership of user problems, managing help-desk system, handling service requests, troubleshooting network, login, domain, operating system, and software issues. You will also be recording escalations, resolving queries, and notifying the IT head of operational escalations. Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical support for hardware/software problems. - Maintain ownership of user issues and ensure resolution within agreed service levels. - Manage the help-desk system, record fault incidents, and resolve faults remotely or by accessing user's desktop. - Manage service requests, software installations, new computer setups, upgrades, etc. - Support technologies such as Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, Windows, desktops, laptops, printers, network printer, NICs, basic LAN/WAN connectivity, and others as assigned. - Troubleshoot network related issues, login and domain related issues, operating system, and general software related issues. - Record escalations and notify the IT head of operational escalations and complaints. - Resolve queries in accordance with the help-desk escalation process. Qualifications Required: - Basic understanding of computer hardware and software. - Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux). - Familiarity with common business applications (Microsoft Office, email clients, etc.). - Troubleshooting skills for hardware and software issues. - Customer-focused approach to problem-solving. - Good communication skills (both verbal and written). - Understanding of common IT support tools and methodologies. - Proficiency in providing remote assistance to end-users. - Knowledge of remote desktop tools for troubleshooting. - Understanding of basic cybersecurity principles. - Awareness of common security threats and best practices.
