Key Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for IT-related issues via ticketing system, email, or phone
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, OS, printer, and network issuesProvide support for desktop/laptop systems, peripherals, and mobile devicesTroubleshoot issues related to Windows OS, MS Office, Outlook, VPN, browsers, and basic network connectivityLog, track, prioritize, and resolve incidents and service requests within defined SLA timelinesEscalate unresolved issues to L2/L3 teams with proper documentationAssist users with user account management, access permissions, and password resetsCoordinate with vendors for hardware repairs, AMC, and replacementsSupport internal applications and portals (e.g., ERP, HRMS, project tools)
Maintain IT asset inventory, onboarding/offboarding checklist, and documentation
Ensure compliance with IT security policies and data protection guidelinesSupport system upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance activitiesRequired Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office Suite, basic networking (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi)Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Freshservice, Jira, etc.)
Basic understanding of Active Directory, antivirus, backup toolsGood troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and user-handling skillsAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple issues simultaneously
