Technical Skills
Troubleshooting Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook), and system performance issues.
• Active Directory administration user provisioning, password resets, group policy, and folder/file-share permissions. • Basic DHCP, DNS management, IP addressing, subnetting, and VLAN configuration. • Windows Server and Linux basics user management, service monitoring, patch updates, and basic CLI commands. • Experience with remote access tools (e.g., RDP, SCCM, troubleshooting). • Software deployment tools (SCCM, Lansweeper) and patching methods; basic scripting using PowerShell and Command Prompt. • Endpoint protection – Antivirus management, BitLocker encryption support, and USB/device control policies. • Ticketing tools (ServiceDesk Plus, Jira,) – incident, request, and change handling. • Basic printer troubleshooting (network printers, print queues, drivers) and scanner support. • Exposure to asset management tools and hardware inventory tracking. • Knowledge of backup tools and drive recovery methods (e.g., Clonezilla, BitLocker recovery). • Monitoring tools (Zabbix) for system uptime and hardware health alerts. • Basic understanding of ITIL processes – incident, problem, and change management workflows.
