Key Responsibilities:

  1. IT Infrastructure Management:

    • Oversee the maintenance and operation of servers, networks, and hardware infrastructure.
    • Ensure system availability, security, and performance optimization.
    • Implement and manage data backup and recovery processes.
  2. Technical Support and Troubleshooting:

    • Provide Level 2/3 technical support to resolve escalated IT issues promptly.
    • Troubleshoot software, hardware, and network problems for end users.
    • Ensure minimal downtime for business-critical systems.
  3. Software and Systems Management:

    • Support the deployment, maintenance, and upgrading of enterprise software and applications.
    • Ensure proper licensing and compliance for all software used within the organization.
    • Collaborate with vendors for system implementation and support services.
  4. Cybersecurity:

    • Enforce IT security policies to safeguard organizational data.
    • Regularly monitor systems for vulnerabilities and implement updates to address risks.
  5. Project Management:

    • Lead or support IT-related projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, and rollouts.
    • Create documentation and reports on project progress and outcomes.
  6. IT Strategy and Innovation:

    • Contribute to the development and implementation of the organization's IT roadmap.
    • Stay updated with emerging trends in IT and integrate them where applicable.

Key Qualifications:

  1. Educational Background:

    • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, Microsoft Certified, CCNA, AWS, etc.) are preferred.
  2. Experience:

    • 3-5 years of experience in IT operations or a related role.
    • Proven experience in handling IT infrastructure, technical support, and system administration.
  3. Technical Skills:

    • Strong understanding of networking, server management, and virtualization.
    • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
    • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and enterprise systems.
  4. Soft Skills:

    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Good time management and organizational abilities.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Uptime percentage of IT systems and networks.
  • Average resolution time for IT issues.
  • Successful implementation of IT projects within deadlines and budget.
  • Number of security incidents detected and resolved proactively.

Work Conditions:

  • Office-based role with occasional remote work opportunities.
  • May require availability outside of regular office hours for critical system issues or upgrades.
