Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

Luxury Resort IT Operations

• Ensure uninterrupted functioning of

  PMS, POS, CRS, SPA systems, and back-office applications

  .
• Provide real-time IT support to Front Office, F&B, Spa, Engineering, Sales, Finance, and HR.
• Support high-end guest technology requirements while maintaining privacy and discretion.
• Coordinate with corporate IT and brand technology teams for system alignment.

Guest Technology & Connectivity

• Maintain

  high-speed, secure, and reliable guest Wi-Fi

  across villas, rooms, public areas, beaches/gardens, banquet spaces, and outdoor venues.
• Support in-room technologies such as

  IPTV, smart TVs, in-room automation, key card systems, and digital concierge platforms

  .
• Ensure technology support for VIPs, events, weddings, conferences, and destination functions.

Network, Infrastructure & Systems

• Manage LAN/WAN, structured cabling, access points, switches, routers, firewalls, and servers.
• Monitor network performance and proactively prevent downtime.
• Maintain backup systems, data redundancy, and disaster recovery protocols.
• Support CCTV systems, access control, and biometric integrations in coordination with Security.

Information Security & Data Protection

• Implement cybersecurity measures including antivirus, firewall, access controls, and patch management.
• Ensure compliance with

  data privacy laws, PCI-DSS (for payments), and brand IT security standards

  .
• Monitor logs and system access to prevent data breaches.
• Support internal and external IT audits.

Application & Software Management

• Maintain and support:
• PMS (Opera / IDS / eZee / Hotelogix or equivalent)
• POS (Micros / POSist / Petpooja or equivalent)
• Finance, payroll, inventory, and HR systems
• Assist with system upgrades, new module rollouts, and integrations.
• Maintain software licenses, documentation, and SOPs.

User Support, Training & SOPs

• Provide prompt, discreet IT support to resort associates.
• Train users on system usage, cybersecurity awareness, and best practices.
• Prepare and update IT SOPs and user guides.
• Maintain IT helpdesk logs and resolution tracking.

Vendor & Asset Management

• Coordinate with IT vendors, ISPs, OEMs, and system integrators.
• Maintain IT asset inventory, AMC contracts, warranties, and compliance documents.
• Support technology implementation during new resort openings or expansions.

Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate / Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline.

• 3-6 years of experience

  in luxury resort or 5-star hotel IT operations.
• Strong exposure to hospitality systems and guest-facing technologies.
• Experience in multi-property or brand-managed environments preferred.
