Job Summary:

The IT Engineer – Hardware & Network is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading the organization’s computer hardware and network systems. This role ensures seamless connectivity, system reliability, and data security across all departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other hardware.
  • Set up and manage LAN/WAN infrastructure, routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
  • Perform regular system backups and ensure disaster recovery readiness.
  • Implement and enforce IT security protocols and access controls.
  • Maintain inventory of IT assets and manage hardware lifecycle.
  • Provide technical support to end-users and resolve hardware/network issues.
  • Collaborate with vendors for procurement and support services.
  • Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, IT, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in hardware and network support roles.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, and VPN technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and structured cabling.
  • Familiarity with Windows/Linux OS, Active Directory, and Office 365.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
