Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to join our team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of experience in IT services business development, with a primary focus on lead generation (70%) and expertise in bidding portals (30%). This role will involve identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and supporting the company's growth in the competitive IT services market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation (70%): Proactively generate leads through cold calling, email campaigns, networking, and strategic outreach. Identify potential clients within the IT services industry and build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Bidding Portal Management (30%): Utilize various bidding portals (e.g., tender management systems, e-procurement platforms) to identify and respond to IT-related tenders and business opportunities.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients in the IT sector, understand their business needs, and provide tailored IT solutions.
  • Business Growth: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and sales channels to expand the company’s presence in the IT services market.
  • Market Research & Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and client demands to stay ahead of market developments and adjust business development strategies.
  • Proposal Development & Negotiation: Prepare and submit detailed proposals, engage in follow-ups, and negotiate terms to close deals effectively.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, technical, and project management teams to ensure smooth execution of client requirements and project delivery.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
  • 4-5 years of experience in business development, specifically in the IT services industry.
  • Strong lead generation skills with a proven track record in B2B sales, especially in IT services.
  • Experience with Bidding Portals and understanding of the tendering process for IT-related projects.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities in a competitive IT services market.
  • Strong understanding of IT solutions and services, including software development, cloud computing, IT infrastructure, and IT consulting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM tools, and other sales management software.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of the IT service industry, including key trends and challenges.
  • Experience with sales automation tools and market research techniques.
  • Familiarity with IT project delivery models (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
