IT Business Analyst

In this role as an Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst at our company, you will be responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. Your main objective will be to contribute effectively to applications systems analysis and programming activities. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor alignment of processes across business, functions, and lines of business to the Enterprise Data Governance Policy and standards to meet its specific requirements. - Provide functional knowledge to ensure efficient analysis and remediation of data quality issues. - Collaborate closely with business, operations, and technology teams, and partner with Enterprise Data Governance teams. - Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), identify solutions, and conduct Risk Assessment for data quality issues. - Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and best practices. - Create data lineage and system flow documentation and process maps. Qualifications: Must Have: - 6+ years of relevant experience as business data analysis, business analysis, or systems analysis. - Extensive experience in data governance, data management, or related roles including support of data standards/policies. - Experience with data management processes, tools, and applications, including data cataloging, process mapping, and lineage toolsets. - Ability to communicate (both verbally and written) in a clear, confident, and open-minded manner to build trusting partnerships with a wide variety of audiences and stakeholders at different levels. Preferred: - Experience in data profiling and writing SQL queries. Education: - Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
