IT Asset Management Analyst

Giorgi Global Holdings, Inc. ( GGH ) is a privately held, diversified consumer products/packaging company with approximately 11,000 employees and operations in 20 countries. GGH consists of four US based companies ( The Giorgi Companies ) and one global packaging company ( CANPACK ).

The IT Asset Management Analyst is responsible for managing the lifecycle of IT assets within the GGH organization, including hardware, software, and licenses. The role ensures accurate tracking, compliance, cost optimization, and supports decision making by providing insights into asset usage and inventory.

Tasks & Responsibilities include:

1. Maintain and update the IT asset inventory across GGH, including hardware, software, peripherals, and cloud subscriptions.

2. Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements and company policies.

3. Monitor the asset lifecycle, from procurement to deployment, maintenance, upgrades, and retirement.

4. Support vendor management by providing data on asset performance, renewals, and contract compliance.

5. Prepare regular reports on asset utilization, costs, risks, and compliance status.

6. Collaborate with procurement, finance, and IT operations teams to forecast needs and optimize asset usage.

7. Assist with audits (internal and external) by providing accurate and up-to-date asset data.

8. Design and improve processes related to IT asset management, ensuring alignment with best practices and business needs.

9. Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within IT asset management.

10. Provide training on asset management policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Education Level: Master s degree Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Statistics, Information Systems
• 5-10 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of IT asset management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Ivanti, or similar).
• Good understanding of software licensing models and IT procurement processes.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Experience in IT Asset Management, IT operations, or procurement.
• ITIL Foundation or IT Asset Management certifications (e.g., CITAM, CSAM, CHAMP).
• Experience with cloud asset management (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, SaaS applications).
• Familiarity with financial tracking and cost optimalization for IT assets. Understanding and experience working with SAP data and modules
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with different stakeholder audiences. Ability to work independently as well as in cross-functional teams.

Work Timing & Location:

• Office - Pimple Saudagar, Awfis, 3rd Floor, GK Mall, Above Pantaloons.
• Current Flexible office presence policy - 3 days/week, 2 days remote
• Typical Working Hours - 10.30am/12:30pm to 7.30pm/9:30 pm IST.
• Operational on call availability subject to incidents/priorities.
• Travel - subject to key projects, usually less than 2 weeks
