Job Description

As an Asset Management Specialist at Amdocs, your main responsibility will be to provide excellent employee experience and measurable business value by effectively managing the lifecycle of Amdocs IT assets and continuously improving the overall asset management program. You should have 2-5 years of experience with ITAM best practice methodologies, managing inventories, and utilizing asset management & discovery systems. Additionally, 2-3+ years of experience with advanced Excel features, SQL/Oracle database queries, and analyzing complex tabular data reports are preferred. Familiarity with computer, server, storage, and network configuration and components is also desired along with experience in IT procurement, IT finance, contract management, or a related field. Your core responsibilities will include managing, controlling, and protecting IT hardware, software, and contract assets throughout all stages of their lifecycle. You will also support related management processes, proactively take actions to improve customer experience, achieve savings, and mature the ITAM program. Ensuring all required information is documented accurately into the ITAM repository, exploring opportunities for asset utilization efficiency, reviewing purchase orders for alignment with asset management requirements, and managing contract documentation and renewal processing are essential aspects of your role. Furthermore, you will be responsible for providing all related ITAM information as needed, performing migration, training & implementation of asset management processes for mergers & acquisitions, managing warehouse & inventory, ensuring proper retirement & disposal of assets, validating, auditing, managing, and controlling software to reduce non-compliance risk, and understanding contract/license terms and conditions.
