Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test scenarios for banking applications, including web, mobile, and client-server systems.
  • Perform manual testing of T24 Core Banking and other financial applications, ensuring compliance with industry regulations (PSD2, AML, GDPR).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, identify defects, and validate fixes using tools like JIRA and Xray.
  • Conduct API testing using Postman or Swagger and validate database transactions using SQL or Power BI.
  • Estimate, prioritize, and plan testing activities while working independently under tight deadlines.
  • Ensure adherence to industry best practices and standards, leveraging relevant certifications and Agile methodologies.

Financial And Banking Knowledge

  • Familiarity with banking products (loans, deposits, payments, foreign exchange, etc.).
  • Understanding of banking processes and industry regulations (PSD2, AML, GDPR).
  • Experience in testing financial applications (internet banking, mobile banking, core banking).
  • T24 Core Banking knowledge is a must.

Manual Testing Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of experience.
  • Advanced skills in writing and executing test plans and test scenarios.
  • Experience using testing tools (JIRA, Xray).
  • Experience testing web, mobile, and client-server applications.
  • Ability to estimate, prioritize, and plan testing activities.

Technologies / Tools

  • Knowledge of databases (SQL) and/or Power BI.
  • Familiarity with API systems and their testing (Postman, Swagger).

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in dynamic environments.
  • Capacity to work independently is a must.
  • Analytical and solution-oriented thinking.

Relevant Certifications

  • ISTQB Foundation.
  • Certification in the banking or financial domain.
  • Agile/Scrum certification (PSM, CSM).

Education

  • Bachelors degree in IT or Finance.
