Job Description

SHIFT TIMING - 5 PM IST to 2 AM IST Job Description:- We are looking for a skilled AS400 Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in developing, maintaining, and supporting applications and other customized utilities on the AS400 platform. Candidate will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing technical solutions, and implementing them using RPG, CL, and other AS400 technologies. This role will also involve troubleshooting and resolving issues, optimizing system performance, and ensuring data integrity and security. Must work closely with other developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our organization. The successful candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of AS400 systems and programming languages. Skill set required for this role:- 6-10 years of experience in iSeries/AS400/RPG Programming. Experience with ILE Advanced concepts (procedures, service programs, functions, free RPG coding syntax). Experience with complex SQL & SQLRPGLE concepts and programming. Experience with FTP concepts and Automation. Excellent understanding of Database, DDS, sub files, RPG III or later & RPGLE programming concepts. Excellent understanding of CL & OS/400 commands. Perform iSeries/AS400 Technical Support & Operations CL Programming skills for automation. Hands-on experience working within an enterprise-wide data center environment is desired. Assist in Deployment and provide Post-Deployment Support. Implement and test software solutions to ensure they meet business needs. Good working knowledge of Free Format. Ability to identify system changes and verify that technical system specifications to meet the business requirements
