Job Summary

We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented In-Process Quality Assurance (IPQA) Executive/Officer to support our Quality Assurance operations in a regulated cosmetic manufacturing environment. The role involves real-time monitoring of production activities to ensure adherence to GMP, ISO 22716, and internal quality standards, thereby ensuring consistent product quality and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct and document in-process quality checks during bulk manufacturing and packaging operations.

2. Ensure compliance with GMP, hygiene, and safety protocols across production areas.

3. Execute line clearance for manufacturing and packing activities and verify readiness according to SOPs.

4. Monitor and record critical quality attributes (CQA) and critical process parameters (CPP) such as pH, viscosity, weight checks, torque, crimping, sealing, and appearance.

5. Review and update Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs) and Batch Packing Records (BPRs) for accuracy and completeness.

6. Coordinate promptly with Production teams for any deviations, non-conformities, or OOS/OOT observations.

7. Participate in deviation investigations, CAPA implementation, and change control processes as per QMS requirements.

8. Ensure proper status labelling and compliance during sampling of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.

9. Verify calibration status and correct usage of instruments and equipment used during in-process checks.

Support internal audits, GMP audits, and continuous improvement initiatives within the QA function.

Required Competencies

1. Strong understanding of cosmetic manufacturing processes (skin care, hair care, oral care, colour cosmetics, etc.).

2. Thorough knowledge of GMP, ISO 22716, and quality management systems.

3. Proficiency in documentation practices and regulatory compliance.

4. Good analytical, observation, and problem-solving capabilities.

5. Effective communication and cross-functional coordination skills.

6. Ability to work with accuracy in a fast-paced production environment
