Description
We are seeking a highly skilled IoT Engineer to join our technology development team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying IoT solutions with a focus on real-time data collection, edge computing, and smart infrastructure integration. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop scalable IoT architectures for smart city applications (e.g., traffic, lighting, waste, energy, security). Integrate hardware (sensors, gateways) with cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP IoT, etc.). Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software, hardware, networking) to deliver end-to-end IoT solutions. Implement protocols such as MQTT, CoAP, LoRaWAN, Zigbee, or NB-IoT for device communication. Optimize data transmission, edge computing, and power management strategies. Ensure security and compliance in IoT system design. Participate in testing, deployment, and performance monitoring of IoT systems in real-world environments. Required Skills: Strong knowledge of IoT protocols, hardware interfaces, and embedded systems. Experience with microcontrollers (e.g., Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi) and industrial IoT devices. Familiarity with cloud services and IoT platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, Google Cloud IoT). Proficient in languages such as Python, C/C++, Node.js. Experience with data visualization tools or dashboards is a plus. Understanding of smart city domains and relevant use cases is highly desirable. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or related field. Prior experience working on Smart City or Urban Infrastructure projects.
