Job Description

Role Description

We are looking for an experienced

iOS Developer

with a strong foundation in designing and implementing enterprise-grade mobile applications. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Swift and Objective-C and will have hands-on experience with iOS frameworks, performance tuning, and integrating with backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-quality, scalable iOS applications in Swift and Objective-C.
  • Lead and guide implementation and design best practices for the iOS team.
  • Produce design artifacts such as class diagrams, sequence diagrams, and component designs for iOS features.
  • Implement product features in line with business requirements using best development practices.
  • Optimize applications for maximum performance, responsiveness, and memory usage.
  • Refactor and update existing code to improve efficiency and support new requirements.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to backend services.
  • Implement and maintain unit tests to ensure ongoing code quality.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
  • Provide high-level estimations and technical guidance to product and management teams.
  • Prepare deployment packages according to defined standards and contribute to release documentation.
  • Mentor and support junior developers throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Engage in technical discussions with clients and present architectural/design decisions.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Objective-C and Swift.
  • Proficient with iOS frameworks such as UIKit, Core Data, Core Animation, Core Location, Core Bluetooth, etc.
  • Experience with offline storage, multithreading, and performance tuning.
  • Deep understanding of RESTful APIs and their integration with iOS apps.
  • Familiarity with Apple’s UI/UX guidelines and design principles.
  • Experience with profiling tools for performance, memory, and battery optimization.
  • Knowledge of cloud messaging APIs and push notification services.
  • Proficiency with Git and/or SVN for version control.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration (CI/CD) tools and workflows.
