Investment Banking Analyst

Role Description

• Build and maintain financial models to evaluate companies, deals, and market scenarios.
• Perform valuation analysis using DCF, comparable companies, and precedent transactions.
• Assist in transaction execution, including M&A, equity offerings, and debt financings.
• Conduct market and industry research to identify risks, opportunities, and trends.
• Prepare pitch books, client presentations, and internal reports.
• Support due diligence efforts by analyzing company data and preparing documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Monitor financial markets and provide insights on relevant developments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related discipline (MBA/CFA a plus).
• Strong knowledge of corporate finance, valuation methodologies, and capital markets.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with Bloomberg, FactSet, or Capital IQ preferred.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
• Prior internships or 1–3 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or consulting preferred.
