Job Description The Investment Banking Analyst plays a key role in supporting deal execution, client advisory, and financial analysis. This role involves preparing financial models, conducting company and industry research, and assisting with presentations and transaction documents. Analysts work closely with associates and senior bankers on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital raising, and strategic advisory assignments, gaining exposure to diverse industries and transaction types. Role Description Build and maintain financial models to evaluate companies, deals, and market scenarios. Perform valuation analysis using DCF, comparable companies, and precedent transactions. Assist in transaction execution, including M&A, equity offerings, and debt financings. Conduct market and industry research to identify risks, opportunities, and trends. Prepare pitch books, client presentations, and internal reports. Support due diligence efforts by analyzing company data and preparing documentation. Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines. Monitor financial markets and provide insights on relevant developments. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related discipline (MBA/CFA a plus). Strong knowledge of corporate finance, valuation methodologies, and capital markets. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with Bloomberg, FactSet, or Capital IQ preferred. Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication and presentation skills with attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, demanding environment. Prior internships or 1–3 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or consulting preferred.
